Session 1- 1:00–2:30 pm    (Ages 14 & Up)
Session 2- 3:00–4:30 pm    (Ages 8-13)

This league is for softball players that are interested in developing their offensive hitting skills. This league runs for four weeks and is run and supervised by the Creighton University Softball coaching staff and players.   Each day will be broken into two main periods; an instructional period and a competitive period.  The instructional period will focus on teaching the fundamentals of a consistent, balanced, and powerful swing through the use of drill work, along with zone awareness and situational hitting.  The competitive session will allow players to apply their skills in a fun, yet competitive, environment.  Players accumulate points by hitting designated areas throughout the cage and by performing situational hitting successfully (bunts, hit and runs, opposite field hitting, etc.).

Location:  Creighton’s indoor hitting facility located in the Kitty Gaughan Pavilion adjacent to the baseball and softball fields located on 23rd and Burt will be the site of the hitting camps.

Cost: $95.00 per hitter.  Fee includes the cost of instruction as well as a camp t-shirt.

Equipment: Each hitter is responsible for bringing their own bat, helmet, and if used, batting gloves. Tennis shoes can be worn in the hitting facility.

Registration: All campers must have a registration and parental consent form on file prior to participating. Registration will take place in the Kitty Gaughan Pavilion prior to the start of the first week of camp.
